A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were talking about what to do for Valentine's Day. We both decided that instead of going out by ourselves and leaving the kids at home, we would have a nice meal as a family.

To show love for one another, the girls set the table and made some simple decorations to 'pretty up' the table. The guys planned, shopped for and prepared our meal and did an awesome job. We all enjoyed shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and honey mustard chicken with broccoli for dinner. To top it off, Spencer made chocolate mousse from scratch!!! Hayden decided to wear his best suit to serve the ladies :)

And then, just to show you we are a typical family, two hours after our wonderful meal, the two older boys ended up in a fight with each other and were sent out to the yard to do some community service together (pick up the trash that blew around in the wind yesterday)!!!
