It's a new year. How about a little excitement!
ONE very fortunate person can join my Stampin' Up! team totally FREE!! Yes, for free. Stampin' Up! has given me the opportunity to extend the invitation for ONE person to receive the Stampin' Up! starter kit without spending a single dime.
If you have any thought of entertaining this idea, please get back to me ASAP. You can NOT sign up on my website for this, but rather must fill out a paper and pen form.
This could be a great way to get a discount on products you already use or this can be a very fun and rewarding way to supplement your family's income.
Remember, this offer can only be offered to ONE person, so get back to me ASAP. I would love to share this opportunity with you. Hey, the kit is FREE. What have you got to lose? Nothing! But, so much to gain :)

Leadership Highlights and Swaps
Our Leadership conference was held here at the Gaylord Opry Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN. Absolutely gorgeous!

This is me with Sally. She is a demonstrator on my team and a great friend and travel partner. I met her through Stampin' Up! and I am so very thankful for her.
Sterling and Shelli Gardner. Shelli is the owner of Stampin' Up! and they are both such down to Earth and personable people.

Nashville, Here I Come!
Leadership Conference is an absolutely fabulous event that Stampin' Up! provides for managers and above. I am very thankful to qualify and look forward to this every year. Having it in January, though, always causes a bit of tension as far as weather goes. Typically, the event is held in a warm location, so the stress is just getting out of our area without a delay or cancellation. This year, our event is in Nashville and they are getting some non-typical weather :( So, now I pray I can get out of here early Wednesday morning and get into the BNA airport, too. It's all in the Lord's hands, so I will continue packing and preparing today and tomorrow and let events fall as they will. Or at least I'll try.
I will be gone until Sunday afternoon. Let me take this time to say this is only possible because I have been given a wonderful husband who supports me in my endeavors and is more than willing to care for our five children during this time. I learned early that when Dad is home with the kids, things aren't done WRONG, they are just done DIFFERENT... and that's okay!
I'll be back Sunday with some great new ideas. I would love to share them with you through a class at my house or a presentation in your home. Contact me for more information.
Always my pleasure,

New Year's Day birthday cards
This card is so simple and can be easily adapted for male or female by just changing the colors. All circles were made with various size punches.

I saw this idea on splitcoaststampers.com and loved it. The sock monkey is too cute. I found out my 19 yr. old niece loves the Sock Monkey so she received a set of these cards for Christmas.
Here are a couple of pictures of my New Year's Day stampers. A couple of us wore our jammies and couple more wore their slippers. All in all, it was a very relaxing afternoon ringing in the new year with some great ladies.

Sally and I will be having a Stamp-n-Dessert night at Bob Evans this Wednesday night, January 5 at 7:00. You will create 2 greeting cards and choose a dessert and drink of your choice for only $10. Let me know if you would like to join us.
One and 1/2 more weeks until Sally and I head to Nashville for our Stampin' Up! Leadership conference. We are both so excited as we will gain so much business insight, get treated royally by Stampin' Up! and enjoy a bit of 'girl time'.
Bye for now :)
